The excavations were difficult due to the close proximity of high power and Telstra lines that were underground, so special attention had to be taken before excavations could begin. There was a paved parking area with a small shed but the shed was removed and replaced with a larger shed constructed on the same site. The paving is still used inside the shed. There has been a retaining wall built around the back of the house to keep water from the building. There is a pathway around the house between the low retaining wall and the house. In the front there is a rendered block wall with Modwood slats between rendered block piers. There is a small deck at the top of stairs at the front gate. The front yard was instant turf with some leftover turf and has hedging plant near the fence. The old driveway was excavated and a new driveway way constructed with exposed aggregate concrete driveway with a white pebble/bluestone mix. The exposed aggregate gives a nice appearance to the finish of the concrete. Over the years there has been so much work done to the property, but there is not too much more that can be done.
